Timber Use Promotion Agreement Signed with Kumamoto Prefecture
Our company has signed the "Agreement to Promote the Use of Prefectural Timber in PACO (Wooden Housing Built with Domestic Two-by-Four Construction)" with Kumamoto Prefecture, Space Agency Co., Ltd., and Imari Lumber Market Co., Ltd.
Through this agreement, our company will work to:
- Contribute to establishing a sustainable forestry cycle—"harvest, use, plant, and nurture"—and support Kumamoto Prefecture's goal of achieving net-zero CO₂ emissions by 2050.
- Ensure a stable supply of Kumamoto-grown timber to Space Agency Co., Ltd. and promote the broader use of locally sourced materials.
- Support the stable supply of wooden housing, which plays an important role in disaster resilience.
We will continue to contribute to the sustainable use of forest resources and the development of local industries through these initiatives.
